Description

Il mercato coperto di Trieste è un edificio a forma triangolare, dagli evidenti lineamenti razionalistici, contraddistinto da grandi vetrate e da una torre affusolata che sale al piano superiore.
Il mercato, che si trova su una delle vie più importanti della città: Via Carducci) venne inaugurato nel 1936 per volontà della benefattrice Sara Davis, che volle regalare lee venditrici ambulati dei mercato all'aperto (le famose "venderigole" che animavano la vicina Piazza Goldoni), uno spazio chiuso dove poter vendere i prodotti della loro terra.
Orari di apertura: 
lunedì 08:00-14:00
da martedì a sabato 08:00-17:00.
