Cedas Trail – Railway Underpass

After the first uphill stretch ⛰️, which runs alongside some private properties 🏡, we reach the railway underpass 🚂, which we can easily cross.
From this point onward, we enter the forest 🌳🌲, which will accompany us until we begin to spot the first terraced vineyards 🍇.
Not everyone knows that "Prosecco" 🥂, the famous Italian sparkling wine now exported all over the world 🌎, originally comes from this very area, at the foot of the small village of Prosecco 🏘️.
The history of this wine dates back to Roman times 🏛️, when it was known as vinum Pucinum, celebrated by Pliny the Elder 📜 in his Naturalis Historia.
