Trieste Stazione Centrale dei Treni

Description

La Stazione di Trieste Centrale è lo scalo ferroviario principale di Trieste che ci porta proprio nel cuore della città alle porte del Porto Vecchio e del Borgo Teresiano. Il grande edificio in stile neo-rinascimentale venne inaugurato nel 1878 ed internamente restaurata nel 2007. L'ingresso principale si affaccia sulla grande piazza della Libertà, dove al centro troviamo il monumento alla Principessa Sissi. Oltrepassata la Piazza, imboccando la Via Ghega e poi Via Trento, si raggiunge velocemente Piazza Unità d'Italia attraverso un ampio percorso pedonale al quale è stato aggiunto da poco anche la corsia per le biciclette.
