Description

La Foiba di Basovizza, pozzo minerario in disuso, è una delle cavità disseminate sull'altipiano del Carso triestino dove, negli anni a cavallo del 1945, furono uccise migliaia di persone. Chiusa l'imboccatura nel 1959, dopo lunghe vicissitudini, nel 1992 venne dichiarata Monumento Nazionale.
