Description
Il Civico Museo Sartorio, inaugurato nel 2006, dopo due anni di chiusura per il suo completo restauro finanziato dal Comune di Trieste e da un generoso contributo della famiglia Costantinides, è una elegante villa borghese dell’Ottocento, divenuta “casa museo” nel 1947 grazie al lascito testamentario di Anna Segrè Sartorio.
Al suo interno negli arredi, nelle opere d’arte e negli oggetti di uso quotidiano convivono gli stili Impero e Biedermeier, sino al revival storico, neorococò e neogotico.
