Iniziamo a salire, imbocchiamo Via Panzera. Da qui in avanti ci si arrampica fino al ciglione carsico, alternando tratti asfaltati a sentieri semi boschivi. Prima di raggiungere l'obelisco di Opicina dovremo affrontare un impegnativo strappo in salita: la temibile Scala Santa, divenatat negli anni una tipiga gara podistica: La Rampigada Santa" dal termine dialettale "rampigar" arrampigarsi per l'appunto... r
