Description

A quota 332 metri sul livello del mare troviamo la Vedetta Italia, uno dei punti di osservazione più panoramici del Golfo e del Carso. La Vedetta fa parte di una rete di postazioni d'osservazione costruite nel dopoguerra e permette di spaziare su tutto l'orizzonte fino alle cime innevate delle Alpi Giulie. Restaurata recentemente dai volontari dell'associazione SOS Carso,  ha incastonata nel pavimento una rosa dei venti che ci permette di orientarci. Continuando sul sentiero in salita raggiungiamo dopo qualche centinaio di metri il Santuario di Monte Grisa.
