Let's walk together along the ring that leads from Piazza Unità to the Sacchetta.
The first stretch is all on the waterfront: you pass by the Salone degli Incanti and reach the area of the Lanterna (the city's old lighthouse). The ‘wall’ of the famous beach resort Pedocin still separates the men from the women. You ‘close’ the ring by passing by the large Campo Marzio station, which houses the Railway Museum, and then return to Piazza Unità d'Italia through the narrow streets of the città vecia (old town).
