Description
The park Muzio de Tommasini is the small but well-kept green lung of the city center of Trieste. One of the peculiarities of the Tommasini Historic Garden is the silent and reassuring presence of the busts of famous people who have characterized the history of the city of Trieste. Among these also the well-known writer Italo Svevo, who set some of his most famous stories such as "Senilità" and "La Coscienza di Zeno" among the paths of the Garden. Under the centuries-old trees, people from Trieste usually stroll and relax on hot summer days, which are also enhanced by an open-air cinema that enlivens the evenings.
